What’s this? A Barricade Day work by Far that contains absolutely no barricades, no fighting scenes or muskets, no people dying…. in fact, not a single person in sight? Well, I decided to be saintly merciful good this year. I mean, there’s no way I could possibly give anybody case of The Sads if I don’t draw anybody, much less anyone dying a horrible, painful death, right??? >:D

I'm about to throw stones but when people my age say "I don't like these Gen Z teenage tone indicators. How am I supposed to MEMORIZE all these new abbreviations? '/nm'? '/lh'? I hate it." it sounds utterly indistinguishable from our parents being like "I don't get this text speak. 'omg'? 'lol'? SAY what you mean! Don't abbreviate!" Like I dunno how to tell you that evolving language involves... learning the evolved parts of language.

I understand like 4 tone indicators and I'm frequently confused but I support it. It's honestly a good solution to tone lost over text imo. I'm ancient and my bones are full of dust but I'll figure it out.

Asdfghjkl alternately: idril demands to be invited because of the stuff that happened to her and everybody else is like "well it's not really the same as getting captured and/or direct contact with the Enemy" but maeglin gets guilted into bringing her along every time (and she brings snacks so nobody really minds lol)

silmarillion tolkien once again microdosing on getting back into art by drawing text posts actually quite happy with how this turned out even if drawing it was like *gritting teeth* 'boy its a good thing i love drawing tiny details' as i shade in gil's braids anyway idril absolutely deserves a seat at that table elrond does not because he was too smart to get involved in nonsense and hes immune to bullsht his trauma is about growing up during the apocalypse and then everyone he loves leaving him totally different than being captured/tortured/killed by the enemy!
